‘The Elephant’s Foot’ Book Launch

Parthian Books arranged a launch of a new collection of poetry; 'The Elephants Foot' by M. A. Oliver-Seminov. He is a past prize winner of the Terry Hetherington Young Writers Award. He was born in Ely, Cardiff, but now lives in Siberia with his wife Anastasia, and young daughter. It is his second published book. The first one was released by Parthian Books in 2014 'Sunbathing in Siberia.'

Michael Oliver Seminov has been published in several 'Cheval' books, including the latest release Cheval 9, also published by Parthian Books, edited by Jonathan Edwards and Rose Widlake. The 2016 prize winners of the Terry Hetherington Young Writers Award, and past prize winners, were also invited to read at the event.  The event took place at Ocvtavo's Book Cafe and Wine Bar in Cardiff, on the 26th July 2016. Past prize winner Sion Tomas Owen read a selection of poems from 'The Elephant's Foot', as well as his own work.

Family members are included in the photographs. Also attending were trustees of the; Terry Hetherington Young Writers Award.
