What a brilliant evening, a real variety of talent. Brendan, a brilliant musician, Donna give her songs full voice, Alan not only brought us a very sensitive, beautiful story, but a great performance of;' Ride On'.Maya not only read about 'nature', but filmed for us, as well as Paul Hughes who demonstrated his talent in music and poetry. Paul Harris found great actors in his play about Abraham Lincoln. Mike put Swansea on the map with his poetry, as did Phil with Neath. Hugh read an actual letter, 'a scam', and a story about Sioni Onion, Liza and Kym never fail to find poetry that is very poignant, their readings are so meaningful. Wes has spent a life-time writing poetry and we are pleased he shares them with us.Brendan ended the evening with a song that got us all singing. Please everyone come back for November the third. |
