The Terry Hetherington Young Writers awards reflect young writers who write from the heart, in the namesake of my late partner who died in 2007.Jonathan Edwards reads Terry's poem; ' Bryn Celli Ddu.' The winner for the 2009 award was Rose Widlake, together with another previous winner Jonathan Edwards have edited the book Cheval 9, published by Parthian Books. This video is filmed by volunteer Paul Jones, and edited for the website by Malcolm Lloyd.The 2016 award winner Mari Ellis, joint second prize winners Rhian Elizabeth for literature, and for poetry Christina Thatcher. Highly praised entries came from; Keely Celia Laufer and Mary-Anne Farah, their readings are most confident. Natalie Ann Holborow, 2016 winner read with passion. Kirsty Parsons, a young trustee of the award reads Philip Jones and Carl Griffin's poetry.Sion Tomas Owen reads a fantastic story.A video from Whyt from USA, Mao (Siberia)

Bryn Celli Ddu a poem written by Terry Hetherington was read by Jonathan Edwards, editor of the Cheval anthologies and 2010 winner of the Terry Hetherington Young Writers Award. Cheval 9 was coedited with Rose Widlake, 2009 winner of the award. 20016 winners of the award were reading Mari Ellis, Rhian Elizabeth and Christina Thatcher, highly, also reading were commended readers; Keely Celia Laufer, and Mary-Ann Farah. Trustee; Kirsty Parsons read for Philip Jones and Carl Griffin. Presenting the award was 2015 winner Natalie Ann Holborow. Sion Tomas Owen, a past winner, read his story; 'Vermin'. Videos were sent by Whyt Pugh who filmed from California, a past winner, Past winner Mao Oliver-Seminov was filming from Siberia. Trustees Phil Knight, and Amanda Davies introduced the contributors. Thank you to all the contributors, and to Paul Lloyd Jones for filming, to all the supporters who attended.
